Privacy policy

This page describes the limited amount of personal data involved when you browse this site.

Data controller

Public pages: There is no account, contact form, newsletter or audience analytics on the public site. I do not build an advertising profile from your visit.
Contact: If you email me, the message is handled by your email provider and mine—not by this website.

Technical logs: Like most web servers, the hosting infrastructure may record an IP address, request date and time, requested URL, response status and browser information.
Why: These logs are used only to keep the site available, investigate errors and detect abuse. The legal basis is my legitimate interest in operating and securing the site.
Who can access them: Access is limited to me and, when technically necessary, the hosting provider. They are not sold or used for advertising.
Retention: Routine server logs are kept only for the period needed for operations and security, then deleted or rotated. A relevant extract may be kept longer when needed to investigate an incident or meet a legal obligation.

Theme preference: Your light or dark theme choice is stored locally in your browser. It is not sent to an analytics or advertising service.
Admin session: The private administration area uses one strictly necessary, HttpOnly session cookie. It expires after eight hours and is not used to track public visitors.
Tracking: There are currently no advertising cookies, third-party analytics or embedded social-media trackers, so no consent banner is shown.

Your choices: Where the GDPR applies, you may ask for access, correction, deletion or restriction of your personal data, or object to processing based on legitimate interest.

Complaint: You can also lodge a complaint with the CNIL, the French data-protection authority.

I'll update this page before adding a public form, analytics, third-party embeds or any other feature that changes how visitor data is handled.
